ART CAMPS
ARTCAMP FOR SUMMER :
AFTERNOON ART CAMP = 1-3PM
EACH WEEK, WE HAVE ART CAMP OUTDOORS FOR A FUN TIME WITH ART ON THREE VERY
ACTIVE AFTERNOONS! Each art camp will focus on a different theme, but all the art camps offer the best drawing, sketching
and painting for their starting point. We even prepare our designs for sculpture with design sketching. Very
cool.
June:

Grouped in ages / levels / focus groups - -
Art classes: Regular "Super Studio" art class at the usual session times: between 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Summer Art camps:
1-3 p.m. Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday, each week OF SUMMER
Summer Movie/Video Camp:
M-F
Day sessions: 10-3
pm Evening sessions: 7-10 pm

The teaching methods used at the Monument School of Fine Arts encourage and develop extraordinary spacial skills, coordination,

Super Studio - the self-paced accelerated classes for kids and adults every week. 55, 90, and 120 minute sessions, start times

Also, the "My Art Time" classes punch card - flexible system for a school semester program: Pick your Class
day and time appointment for classes, (pay tuition monthly or use the punch card) from appointments available on Tuesdays,
or on Wednesdays or on Thursdays or all three.

Fall, Winter and Spring ArtCamps:
Picnic Art Hikes: outdoor fun for you - and we're on a beautiful field trip to local nature areas.
All the hikes will have a nature theme, but we may just include some fun surprises for designing - surprise theme.
Sometimes we visit the local horse farm, the local wildlife ponds and lakes, and sometimes
the 5 acres of meadow out the back door has the most wildlife to offer. It's always a Colorado wildlife event.

MOVIE CAMP
This Winter and Summer movie clinics/camps:
LIGHTS - CAMERA - ACTION!
MOVIE CLINIC /CAMP - ages 10-15+ "You are the Crew" Movie Camp.
Post Camp Public screening available.
Attendees will form their own crew and cast for the production and acting of a real movie: build skills in project development,
production, pacing and a polished presentation.
We
will cover the basics of movie production in all the aspects, so you have good skills to continue your movie talents in future
camps, in using movies as an art form or for essay/documentary forms for academic applications. Each member can take home
a copy of their original creations after post production.
You will Learn: Directing, cinematographic skills, acting,
script writing, and more!

The Artist's Way Creativity Workshops - Call us for dates beginning in Summer and Fall classes: 488-8280
HURRY! UNIQUE SERIES:
We will have a week-end 12+ hour series this Season to get you started on the Artist's Way. You'll need the book, we'll
meet for the course, and the supplies will be about $10.00 a week for the projects. Write us for dates & details.
YOUR ART TUNE-UP with The Artist's Way Workshops - All levels welcome. Day offerings
and night offerings available. This is the general format for all the Artist's Way classes / program:
Lecture , dynamic small groups and the demo/hands-on projects: 3-day weekends with five (5!) 2 - 3 hour sessions of
creative, artistic discovery and collaboration with hands-on projects included. Lunch at local great restaurants or local
scenic picnics. Large capacity can be accommodated. (up to 100).
(The Expresso Yourself series coordinates with the Artist's Way Workshops)
These Expresso Yourself: One Shot classes can also be taken for the Studio/al fresco Art Sampler, all levels welcome:
